Hooray for another holiday! When writing makes you feel like your brains are going to explode, then it’s a sign that you need a time off. Good thing I’ve found one just when I needed it. :)

Pristine

It’s a must to wear red on any festive occasion, so for my birthday I bought a pristine red dress. :)

I purchased the dress for less than Php300 at Regina’s, one of my favorite stores in Greenhills. Have you noticed my talent when it comes to sale? I have the perfect vision when a sale comes up. I think I should start putting up a “cheap finds” section on my blog. Yes? Let me know. ;)

Tranquil

It’s nice to have friends who’ll stick with you until you grow up. I witnessed that kind of friendship when my dad was invited to his old friend’s house. It’s amazing to see them talk about the things that they both like, and meeting each other’s family members. Can I just say that their family was beyond welcoming? It felt like we were just talking to our aunts, uncles, and cousins. By the way, Daddy helped in some of the aesthetics of their beautiful haven. It was like entering a tranquil resort in the middle of the tiring city. #prouddaughter

I wore something snug yet stylish for a pre-Christmas lunch. Since I was wearing dark colored clothing, I plumped for neon accessories. Don’t you guys love these neon spikes and blue watch? I think these colorful elements made me look tad younger than my real age. Can I still pass as a college student? I hope so! ;)

Olsen for Halloween

Last Wednesday, our office celebrated Halloween with the kids. However, I wasn’t able to prepare my costume for the afternoon event. I arrived wearing an androgynous/edgy ensemble. I was planning to wear a Mary-Kate Olsen look: men’s polo, skinny jeans, and boots. I borrowed polo from my guy friend the night before and I ended up leaving it home. Fickle. I know.

I chose a sleeveless top, denim polo, leggings, and boots. I think this look passed as a Mary-Kate Olsen look (please agree with me. LOL!). I hope I gave her justice; she’s one of my fashion inspirations after all.
