Center of the Foliage

Summer’s scorching heat is unbearable. A little movement may lead to excessive sweating. Seriously, it sounds revolting but that’s how hot it is in Manila—like the city is baked inside a huge oven.

To beat the summer heat, my family went to a posh resort nearby. It was luxurious; like you went into an extravagant resthouse outside the metro, when in fact it was just minutes away from our place. So, what did I wear? A vibrant outfit that is apt for the weather. Pardon my flabs as I have been gaining weight like crazy. My body has been juggling into losing and gaining weight lately that it has started to affect my health. Okay, enough about that. Let me show you my colorful summer outfit. :)

Nautical

Yey! It’s Sunday once again. Honestly, I’m not rather sure if I’m happy or scared right now. I’m aging and I’m feeling all Bella right now. Oh Edward, please bite me before midnight so I can stay at this age forever. It’s daunting when I think that I’m almost in the mid-20s. Okay, I’ll stop the aging rant and just show you what I wore a couple of weeks ago. I know; another backlog post. I promise to fill you in as often as I can: when time permits and when a topic crops up. I don’t want to bombard you with my personal problems, improbability, and whatnots. Or maybe you like that too? LOL!

Here’s another nautical look from me. I wore jeans and long sleeved shirt as during that time we were still feeling the cool breeze. Now, I’m not really sure. I’m stuck in our wintry office every single day so I’m somewhat dense about the weather outside.

Bloody Stripes

Sunday is Aquino family’s bonding day—a must to visit Lola’s house to catch up with the family after the mass. This was an outfit shot from two (or three) weeks ago. I know, I know. Backlog! Have you noticed that I was wearing long sleeves? It’s because we had a blustery Sunday afternoon. Now, we’re back to the scorching days. Not actually baking yet, but you’ll definitely sweat. (Does that sound gross? I hope not!) Oh I wish the cold weather didn’t end right away. I miss my cold morning travel to work.

I still have my favorite black and white skulls in this post. Want to know where did the skulls go? Quick story: I sold the skull bracelet when a lady saw me wearing them on my way home. She asked where I got them, and I told her I’m selling accessories online. She said she’ll get the one I was wearing. Fast transaction, right then and there! I was surprised that it only took about 2 minutes—lightning fast transaction.

Speaking of accessories, Quintessential Shop Manila just released a new collection. If you are into earcuffs, then you’ll love them. I was searching for earcuffs for the longest time now, so I was glad to find some of them. Here’s a sneak peek of the earcuffs available.
