Gift of Life and Love

Since I am an avid “bloghopper”, I stumbled upon Chuvaness’ blog and saw this video. I cried feebly; every shot has a meaning played in it. This short video will make you ponder on how you treat your special someone. Before you watch it, let me ask you, what is the greatest gift that you have given to someone you love?

The Gift of Life is a short film produced by Energizer Philippines in collaboration with Manikako. Last I heard they were among the top 5 finalist of the best online commercials in the Webby Awards.

My Birthday Experience at Cafe Publico

For my 24th, I have decided to stay at home instead of going to work. I tugged myself under the blanket and tried going back the sleep, but the sun’s sultriness deranged my precious dreams. So, I have decided to treat myself for a gelato.

The moment I stepped inside the cab, I know where I was going—Café Publico, the gelato house that I have been lusting on for quite some time. Since it’s my birthday, it’ll be the perfect time to try Café Publico.

Vintage Denim top | Aztec skirt from Greenhills | Studded Booties from Topshop | Eyeglasses from Firmoo

One day I feel super girly and the next day I will be spotted wearing a pair of studded booties. I think my February madness is kicking in. This one of the looks that I was talking about—but this time, I mixed the edgy style with a girly flair. I want to put in some colors so I’ve decided to use my Aztec skirt on my plain denim top. I added my suede studded booties and I’m off to work. I’m so glad that I can wear what I like at work. It’s one of the perks that girls love and sometimes hate especially when you ran out of clothes to wear.

Oh BTW, Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Next stop: My 24th. :)

WWF and ADSI’s Enviropop: Preserving the Marine Biodiversity

Chi-chi the Giant Panda instantly comes to mind when we talk about WWF or World Wide Fund. Chi-chi is the character behind WWF’s legendary logo that signifies panda preservation since the year 1980s. Since the 80s, WWF headed scientific research, creating natural reserves, and educating communities on panda conservation. Aside from saving the pandas, WWF is known to be the largest independent organization committed to helping preserve endangered plants and animals.

Now WWF-Philippines, in partnership with Applabs Digital Studios, offers their first ever puzzle application that aims to spread awareness on how to reduce the threats to marine life.

The Enviropop app helps Chi-chi and his underwater friends Bobby the Butanding, Clara the Clownfish, Doogie the Dugong, Gary the Grouper, Pattie the Pawikan, and Dolly the Dolphin in creating a stable marine biodiversity. The gameplay is simple: All you have to do is remove the hazards for them to have a healthy underwater playground.
