Charlie’s Grind and Grill

I’m always on the go—my family and friends know that for sure. If I have time, I would really go out with just one text/ call. It is one of the reasons why I ended up in Charlie’s Grind and Grill a couple of weeks ago. It was rather ironic that I haven’t tried this restaurant yet—it’s just in my neighborhood!

My verdict? The angus beef burger was heavenly! Don’t be fooled, The burger and fries were ideally made for sharing. Unless you have a really big appetite, or just plain hungry. Don’t forget to get the Aioli. It’s their best dressing!

Next on my list: Charlie’s unlimited pancakes! :)

Bigoli Birthday With The Gang

After a fun long-weekend birthday feast with my family, it’s time to have fun with the office friends. Rhea and I decided to have a double birthday celebration for our office barkada. So, we chose one of our favorite restaurants:  Ristorante Bigoli.

Since we’re affirmed kulang-kulangs (a term used to those who were born on the month of February), we decided to play dress-up for the dinner. We opted for movie characters. However, Rhea and I were so pasaway so we went as Blair and Serena from Gossip Girl. LOL! Janelle arrived as Han Solo, Dulsey as Becca of Pitch Perfect, and Ate Melai as one of the Sex and the City girls (no clue who among the 4 characters was her actual peg. Haha!). The boys, err..  Let’s just say they’re dressed as the characters of American Pie. Haha!

Cafe Xocolat

Last Friday Night: No, we didn’t party like there’s no tomorrow like what Katy Perry did. We just had a nice mini celebration. What did we celebrate? It’s something between me and Janelle. To make it simpler, we bonded over BonChon and Cafe Xocolat because Christmas is near. ;)

Cafe Xocolat, you just made our day. That Red Cake and Molten Flourless Xocalat are to die for. The moist cake and cream cheese of That Red Cake are insanely addictive. Molten Flourless Xocolat is a tad bitter because of the dark chocolate, and is a perfect balance to That Red Cake’s sweetness. I can’t wait to have another round soon.

Visit Cafe Xocolat at Greenhills Promenade. :)

Shop and Dine with Mikhail

Mikhail and I went to Robinsons Galleria to help him shop. He got a lot of pieces: jeans, polos, and some basics. Mikhail stayed with his staple style but I tried pushing him on some modish pieces that he is not accustomed to. I’m glad he gave it a shot.

We had delectable dinner at Papa John’s. His treat of course, for the favor he asked. LOL! Again, it’s another confirmation that boys love to shop too. :)
