My Birthday Experience at Cafe Publico

For my 24th, I have decided to stay at home instead of going to work. I tugged myself under the blanket and tried going back the sleep, but the sun’s sultriness deranged my precious dreams. So, I have decided to treat myself for a gelato.

The moment I stepped inside the cab, I know where I was going—Café Publico, the gelato house that I have been lusting on for quite some time. Since it’s my birthday, it’ll be the perfect time to try Café Publico.

Late for Coachella

Blue dress | Black patent satchel from Parisian | Black flats from Solemates | Brown belt from Department Store | Necklace from Quintessential Shop Manila Watch from Timex

Last Saturday, I was about to get something from the mall and was surprised to get a text from Angel asking me if I want to go out. It’s crazy that it happens a lot of times. It surprises us that we think of the same thing at the same time, like twins!

I wore this blue top and was supposed to pair it with booties ala Coachella. But, my instinct told me to skip the booties. I hope this look still made me look fashionable/appropriate for running errands. What do you think? :)

Scrumptious Lunch at C2 Cuisine Greenhills

I have already got my craving. The day we have been all waiting for has finally arrived.

I arrived in C2 Classic Cuisine, 30 minutes late, hungry and drenched in rain. My ill sentiment for the sudden change of weather altered because of the food they served us. They look appetizing even though we haven’t tasted it yet. Some of the bloggers have tried eating in C2 Cuisine, but for me it’ll be my first time. So cheers for a new experience, and new taste.

They asked us what drinks to have and I chose ripe mango shake since it is my favorite. I know, I didn’t take a risk on that but what can I do? I love mangoes too much! A few of us ordered Buko Pandan, and Maja Mais drink which was just added in their menu.

We started off the parade of foods minutes after I arrived. First dish was the Grilled Liempo Sinigang. This is an modernization of the usual sinigang na baboy (pork tamarind soup) that we normally serve in our houses. They separated the pork and vegetables from the soup, so you have the preference to have it with or with no soup.

C2 Greenhills

Checked my e-mail and got invites for this event.

Who would dare decline their crispy Kare Kare?! Picture palang tempting na. LOL! This would be my first time and I’m going with my other blogger friends. We share the equal fervour for good food so this is really an event we would not miss.

I think we need to get tea after this. Oh happy tummy Thursday! :D

I love Filipino dishes so let’s see if they can enliven with my taste buds! So excited!!! Watch out for our next posts! :)
