My second summer escape transpired in the beautiful Louisse Private Resort in Taytay. The resort was rather luxurious so we had the chance to experience how it was to be rich for hours. Not bad huh? I wonder how it would feel to own a posh resort like this? I think I’ll stay there forever than in my own house. ;)

Since Janelle resides near that area, I have decided to tag her along for a swim. Summer escapade part 2—still no tan lines. My skin is super weird!

High Street

I was looking for an excuse to wear this high street fashion/ Olsen-inspired look. Luckily I’ve found an event perfect for this. La Creperie invited us to their new branch to experience their French cuisine.

Charlie’s Grind and Grill

I’m always on the go—my family and friends know that for sure. If I have time, I would really go out with just one text/ call. It is one of the reasons why I ended up in Charlie’s Grind and Grill a couple of weeks ago. It was rather ironic that I haven’t tried this restaurant yet—it’s just in my neighborhood!

My verdict? The angus beef burger was heavenly! Don’t be fooled, The burger and fries were ideally made for sharing. Unless you have a really big appetite, or just plain hungry. Don’t forget to get the Aioli. It’s their best dressing!

Next on my list: Charlie’s unlimited pancakes! :)

MOMO Afternoon with the Bloggers

When blogging gets tough, and you feel the writer’s block getting on your nerves, then it’s time to have a break and head out to clear your head. Ironically, clearing our heads need some scrumptious dishes. Luckily, we got a sweet treat for lunch. Thanks, Boss!

These ladies know how to eat. There were 8 ladies in the team, and we definitely know how to eat. Check out some of the dishes we had for our lunch at Momo Café, Eastwood.

Bread with Cheese Pimiento Spread

The Beef Tapa & Crispy Pork Garlic Cheese Fries. Too good to be true. Seriously, I initially thought that tapa would taste weird with the fries. I beg to disagree; it was heavenly, and the burst of flavorful tapa in your mouth made this dish a sure hit. If you’re trying out MOMO for the first time, you should get this.

“Tower of Power” 3-Layer Mexican Pizza. I tried it because I fancy some Mexican dishes. However, it’s not that good for my taste. The flavors were too strong for my taste buds.

Pork Chop & Pork Belly Tonkatsu. Janelle and I ordered this dish because we love pork, and so that we can splurge on other dishes. The menu says that it was made for sharing, well not that true. The rice itself can be consumed by one person. Good thing we ordered tons of dishes to satisfy our bitin meal. Haha!

Momo’s Deep Fried Oreos & Cornflakes. This was my first time I tried fried Oreo. Janelle told me that it was a dessert that I should try. The first bite was surprisingly good, but then it was served earlier than expected it’s not that warm anymore. Still it didn’t fail tickling my taste buds. Or maybe because I’m just fond of sweet treats.

Frozen Strawberry Iced Tea. It may look intimidating but I finished the drink. Refreshing drinks are my favorite.

Since we’re all bloggers, we did not let this momentous lunch out pass. It instantaneously turned into a food bloggers’ activity. As soon as the dishes were laid on our table, cameras start flashing. It took us a lot of time taking photos of the meal that we ordered than the time consumed eating. Good thing we have a hearty appetite so we finished everything fast. :)

Cheers to more blogging activities with my favorite ladies! In fact we have another one. Watch out for my La Creperie post soon. <3
