Bonjour, Tous Les Jours!

I know shopping for clothes, shoes, and bags is the most delightful activity for girls. But, who would’ve thought that shopping for pastries is fun? Well for me it is, all for the love of bread. That is why when I learned that Tous Les Jours opened their new store in Eastwood City, I was ecstatic.

Tous Les Jours welcome their customers with a bizarre ambiance—French music and the staff greeting you in Korean language. I did a little research and found out that Tous Les Jours originated in Korea that focalizes on French delicacies. As I have said earlier, I have this weird love for breads that is why I went back to the store for 3 straight days.  My Paris dream is within reach in Tous Les Jours. It makes me want to take French lessons again. Bonjour, Mademoiselle! ;)

Oh my Sandwich!

Last Friday my Tita and I went to Market Market to check their site for Bigoli (Watch out for my blog about Bigoli, ecstatic!). Opening a branch isn’t easy at all. Location is highly considered so does reaching their target market. I can’t divulge the minutiae so I will just share my first bite at Chuck’s deli in Serendra.

Check out their menu:

Chuck’s deli serves sandwiches, burgers, coffees, milkshakes and pastries c/o Pauline’s

Their menu were catchy, blame it on my Twilight addiction (vampires became my obsession) so Buffy sandwich caught my eye. However, I was restrained to taste it since I wanted to try their bestseller: Philly cheese steak.

That was actually 10 inches long so I told them to cut it in half and have the other half to-go. Sandwiches were served with either chips, onion rings, or fries.

Their meals range from Php 150 to Php 400.

I have also tried cherry coke, and the taste was surprisingly good knowing that Im not a fan cherries. My Tita tried the cherry flavored Dr. Pepper Soda.

She also ordered a flatwich, which I forgot the exact name (define memory gap). I also tried and it was good, the taste of ham, cheese, lettuce, and tomato with their special sauce tastes great.

The service was great, it just took time to serve the food. The bill also took time and they only have 5 tables occupied.

My overall rating: 8 out of 10.

I will definitely eat there again :)
