Goodbye 2012, Hello to an Adventurous 2013!
Call me a procrastinator or even a pro at that; I was supposed to create this entry a few weeks before the year ends and here I am typing in the speed of light on the 31st of December, year 2012.
Technically the highlight of this entry was to talk about how my 2012 went. Since I am in a hurry (literally), I’ll just spare you on a few small talks and give you brief details on how year 2012 went for me. Let’s start from the very beginning.
I started the year by lighting up a set of prosperity candles. I don’t know if you have heard about that ritual but basically it was about which candle will melt first. That time, it was green which means money. It was just a few days ago that I realized that the ritual was true. I’m not rich but I have a stable source of income. Not lucky though when it comes to the color pink—the color of love.

2012 is not my year when it comes to love. I haven’t been in a relationship for quite some time now (okay, years!). I’m not pressuring myself on that matter; in fact I love every moment of my single status. Why? Coz I’m surrounded with friends and family that treat me extra special—I don’t feel the bitter single status at all. I have a fair share of failed almost-relationship for this year. Two guys (not at the same time, of course) caught my attention, but then the magic abruptly vanished—and that’s what I’m looking for: magic. I know, I know, the hopeless romantic in me.
If you’re reading this, well, wala lang I have Channing Tatum naman. LOL!

Acquaintances grew this year. I have met a lot of people because of the two jobs I had. Plus, the blogger’s community. :) I started 2012 with a home based job, chatting with my teammates that I haven’t seen yet. Then, I got hired in a company where I met my colleagues whom I consider more of my barkada/brothers and sisters than workmates. Essentially because we are all about the same age—it feels like I’m in school for the 2nd time around. In a short span of time I have learned a lot from them, both in work and personal matters. It may be brief but believe me, I’ve learned (except for the coding and photoshop). Haha! I have also met the boys from Citibank, which is the funniest group of people I’ve met— literally. Even their facial expressions make me laugh, or maybe I’m just mababaw. :D

I want to end this entry with my realizations from the year 2012. Let me start off by saying, it’s okay to try new things. I know I’ve been uptight and too righteous (not that it’s a bad thing) all along, but it is okay to take risks in between to experience new things. You are not going to be in the same age forever so try to let loose and of course, know your restrictions. It is the sense of balance that will keep us rational, if you know what I mean. ;)
For year 2013, it’s all about taking chances, getting a fresh start (as always), and living life to the fullest. So are you ready to start 2013 with a bang?!

To all of my readers, and those who just got lost and landed on my page, Happy New Year. May all of your dreams come true! Xo! :)
